Privacy Policy

Summary
Leashkeep is developed by Beacon Light Investments ("we," "us"). Leashkeep collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no way to. The app requests no internet permission on either platform, so it cannot transmit data even if it wanted to — this isn't a policy promise, it's verified against the compiled app itself (no INTERNET permission in the Android release manifest; no network entitlement on iOS).
What Leashkeep Stores, and Where

What We Don't Do
- No account or sign-in of any kind.
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or usage tracking.
- No advertising, and no ad SDKs.
- No network requests of any kind — the app has no server to talk to.
- No data is sold, shared, or transmitted to us or to any third party, because none of it ever leaves your device.
Exporting and Deleting Your Data
- Export Backup (Settings) creates a single backup file containing your data and photos, which you share or save using your device's normal share sheet — to your own cloud storage, computer, or wherever you choose. Leashkeep itself never uploads this file anywhere.
- Restore Backup lets you import a previously exported backup file, with either a Merge or a confirmed Replace.
- Delete My Data (Settings) permanently and irreversibly erases the app's local database and all photos from your device. There is no cloud copy to also delete, because none was ever made.
Permissions Leashkeep Requests, and Why

Photos you select or capture are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. The optional evening reminder is a local notification, not delivered through any push notification service — no notification content or scheduling data leaves your device.
Children's Privacy
Leashkeep is a business tool for pet-care professionals and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the "Effective date" above will be updated and the new version published at this same URL.
